Our Committee of Management
The Wilson Home Trust Committee of management is appointed by the Trustee, the Waitemata District Health Board (WDHB) and the Auckland Branch of CCS Disability Action. The Committee of management members are:-
Chair - Adina Halpern
Waitemata DHB Appointee
I am a lawyer who has worked in the health and commercial sector for many years. I am very excited to have been given the opportunity of chairing the Committee of management of The Wilson Home Trust. At this crucial time I hope to work with beneficiaries across the upper North Island and other stakeholders, to enable the Trust to attain its potential and the vision of the Wilson family.
Robert (John) Whitehead
Waitemata DHB Appointee
As an experienced property professional and property consultant I see my key role as addressing the issues confronting the committee over the current condition of the buildings on the Takapuna site, their immediate future and the longer term development options for the site to ensure the Wilson Home Trust can continue to provide appropriate facilities from which to deliver its services.
Over my career I have been a Director of publicly listed property companies, held a position as trustee of the Bledisloe Estate Trust for some 19 years and currently sit on the property board of the Selwyn Foundation. I look forward to assisting the Wilson Home Trust to meet its objective of providing respite and assistance to children and their families whose circumstances qualify.
