Belmont Intermediate School Kapa Haka Group entertain the crowd
Blue sky and light clouds were perfect conditions for our annual Children’s Christmas party on December 1, here at the Wilson Home Trust Takapuna site. As well as the return of the petting zoo, hair and nail bar and face painters, this year we were thrilled that the Belmont Intermediate School Kapa Haka group were able to join us on the day. They proved very popular with the crowd, as did the Devonport Navy Pipes and Drums and Fey dancers.
We also want to thank the many volunteers from DellMC, Hearts & Minds, Enliven and a few of our staff’s families and friends, for their assistance on the day. We are also extremely grateful for the support of the Devonport Takapuna Local Board for funding assistance towards the running of the event, and the following businesses for their support
- The Warehouse Milford and Albany branches
- Countdown Hauraki Corner
- The Village Butcher Hauraki Corner
- Little and Friday Belmont
- Petal Cupcakes Takapuna
- Whitcoulls Takapuna
And of course the star of the show was Santa, who despite his busy schedule, was able to be here on the day.
