The Wilson Home Trust is delighted to welcome Carol White as our new Trust Manager.

Carol comes to us from the Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust, where she was Executive Director for the past five years. Her responsibilities there included implementation of a successful strategic plan as well as the day-to-day operations of the Centre and its Outreach and Satellite programmes.  Carol is passionate about contributing to the disability community and the charitable sector, and has developed strong and lasting relationships with children, parents, organisations and professionals caring for children. The Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust grew  significantly under her leadership, and we are delighted to have here at The Wilson Home Trust.

Prior to working at the Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust, Carol had a long and successful career in the corporate and business sector. She has a Bachelor of Business Studies degree in management and a Post Graduate degree in marketing and her previous work experience was mainly in business and media, having worked at TVNZ, TV3 Mediaworks, and SKY TV in a range of marketing and management roles.

Carol says “ I have only been onsite for three days but am very excited to be here working for an organisation that plays such an important role in rehabilitation and respite care for children and their families. I have already met some wonderful people who share this beautiful location with us and I am looking forward to developing and expanding the great services the Wilson Home Trust offers, as it enters its 80th year in operation.”

The Chair of the Committee of Management, Adina Halpern said “I am very much looking forward to working with Carol.  I know that she will be as committed as the Committee of Management is to ongoing engagement with beneficiaries.”
