Leaving a Legacy to the Trust
81 years ago, a very generous Mr and Mrs R W Wilson donated their home and gardens at St Leonard's Road, Takapuna and 10,000 pounds sterling in Trust to support crippled children and those with polio. A matching 10,000 pounds sterling donated from Lord Nuffield established and endowment funds to ensure the home was not used for other purposes. The generosity of these three people has helped make the Wilson Home Trust what it is today - a trust that has helped thousands of physically disabled children and their families in the upper north island with medical, health, financial, emotional, information and resource support.
You can continue to support this great legacy, by leaving a gift or donation in your will. Our Trust Manager is available to talk further about this. Please call 09 485 3463 for more information.
