Sensational Siblings began when a number of parents approached us regarding the lack of support for children with a sibling with a disability. This demand has led to a regular 6 weekly group. The sessions comprise a mixture of workshops looking at the childrens issues, exploring skills and resources and activities.
If you are between 8 and 12 years old and have a brother or sister with a disability why not join us?
We meet every 6 weeks on a Friday night at the New PHAB Building at 8 Auburn St, Takapuna from 6pm till 8pm and our first session will be on August the 3rd. You can call Barb at the North Shore LIFE Centre on 414 5360 if you are interested in coming along or would like some more information.

ArtOut Workshops & Competition
We invite you to join in art workshops, an exhibition and a competition.
The theme is ‘Dreaming’.
Who May Enter: You if you are under 18 years old and have a disability
OR Your brothers and sisters.
Competition: Join us in the holidays for art fun! Come to one workshop or all four. Or make your artwork at home and bring it to the Wilson Centre or North Shore Life Centre by 4.30pm Wednesday 3 October.
